WHAT IS SHOPIFY?
Shopify Inc. is the host of our web-shop, and they make it possible for us to sell our products to you by functioning as an online e-commerce platform. Your data is stored in Shopify’s data storage, databases and the general Shopify application. The data is stored on a secure server behind a firewall.
WHAT PAYMENT SECURITIES DO YOU HAVE IN PLACE?
If you select a direct payment gateway to finalize your purchase, then Shopify stores your credit card data, which is encrypted through the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS). Your credit card data is stored only for the amount of time it takes to complete the purchase transaction. When the purchase transaction is complete, your transaction information is deleted. All direct payment gateways follow the standards set by the PCI-DSS and managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the safe handling of credit card information by our store and its service providers. For more information, please read Shopify’s Terms of Service or Privacy Statement.
Note that certain payment gateways and other payment transaction processors have their own privacy policies in terms of the information that is required to provide to them for your credit card transactions. We suggest that you read their privacy policies so you can understand how your personal information will be handled by these providers.
WHAT IS THE AGE OF CONSENT?
By using this site and by purchasing our products, you signify that you are at least the age of majority in your state or province of residence and that you have given us your consent to allow any of your minor dependents to use our website, if there is any.
HOW DO WE PROTECT YOUR INFORMATION?
We take reasonable precautions and follow industry best practices to protect your personal information to ensure that it is not lost, misused, disclosed, changed or damaged. When you use your credit card in our web-shop, the information is encrypted by using a secure socket layer technology (SSL) and stored with an AES-256 encryption. That being said, no technique of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, but we follow all PCI-DSS requirements and implement generally accepted industry standards.
